Steve Korbe, owner of Johnson Electric Motor Winding, Inc., has over 40 years of motor winding experience. He learned the craft from his father, Melvin Korbe, who owned and operated a Motor Rewind shop in Hays, KS. Steve then spent over 20 years, rewinding starter generators in the aircraft industry in Wichita, KS. Steve has merged old school rewind with the exacting quality of the aircraft industry to produce a superior repair to any motor we work on. Johnson Electric Motor Winding, Inc.'s motor rewinds are in most cases, better that factory new.
